Innoson Motors or Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) is a Nigerian automobile brand charged with the production of quality and affordable vehicles all across Africa.

The owner of the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company is Innocent Chukwuma. He had worked as an apprentice in business marketing; after which he started a spare parts partnership business with his brother, and from then on, began his own company.
From his automobile business, he started importing motorcycle parts and assembling them in Nigeria, and soon after, in 2007, he started the vehicle assembly arm of the company – Innoson Motors. It has been one success after the other since then.
Innocent Chukwuma’s current net worth is about $1.5b or ₦540 billion. His main business is vehicle manufacturing, although he has established products and companies in the agriculture, plastics, and motorcycle sectors.
The Innoson Logo
The Innoson logo is simply the word “IVM” in an ellipse and was designed by Osuolale Farouq in May 2019.
The brand ambassador to the Innoson brand 2019 BBNaija winner, Mercy Eke also known as “Mercy Lambo” or “Lamborghini.” She has an IVM G40 SUV worth over ₦25 million.
Innoson Motors Factory
The Innoson factory is located in Uru Umudim, Nnewi Local Government, Anambra State. The factory is automated to manufacture at least 10 small buses each day.
The factory regularly undergoes quality control tests that include engine tests, road tests, rain tests, safety tests (airbags, seatbelts, etc), and sensors tests, among others.
The Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing’s operational facility was commissioned on 15th October 2010 by former President Goodluck Jonathan. With a current staff capacity of about 7500 people including engineers, machinists, welders, and painters who are very functional.

The IVM 1100 is a tricycle also known as Keke Napep. It is the most current vehicle released by Innoson Motors. It was manufactured to suit Nigerian road conditions.
2. IVM Ikenga
The IVM Ikenga was named after Dr. Dozie Ikedife popularly known as Ikenga Nnewi. It is a family crossover SUV that can carry 7 persons in comfort.
It has a Turbocharged 1.81 engine, rugged tires to fit Nigerian roads, two variants of an automatic and manual transmission, and revitalized shock absorbers.

IVM G20 Smart is the thin line between an SUV and a sedan. It is a mid-sized MPV with a 1.5L engine, that shows remarkable fuel efficiency while conveying 7 persons in premium comfort.

IVM Serki is a bus that functions both as cargo haulage and a passenger’s mass transit. It is efficient for use on Nigerian roads.
